So, I have been losing quite a bit of weight lately. I'm doing it on purpose and not by force or because of some crazy depression or fad even. I have a 6 year old daughter and i was getting heftier and heftier over the past 6 years and it was time to do something about it. I have lost over 40 lbs and 5-6 inches around the belly area and i feel great!!! I am starting to look like a regular guy again and not a barrel. haha. Don't get me wrong, like most guys, i never noticed the weight gain really
Ok so i haven't posted in a while, sorry about that everybody. I wanted to blog about my latest adventures. Nothing too fancy or over the top. My buddy Roy came over again on his Thunderace 1100 wanting to take another cruise through the Valley. He showed up right before 7am and luckily for him, I was already awake getting ready for the ride. It was a very cloudy day but there was enough sun out for it to be an enjoyable ride. The air was crisp and there was very little to no wind before we headed
Went to check out some Hot Rods and the such down in Old Town Culver City. I was surprised at the amount of Rockabilly babes that can be found at these shows. Nothing against them, i love the look, but don't give me dirty looks when you catch me looking at you. You dress that way for a reason and that's to get noticed. It's your style and you want to show it off. What's the problem with having men look at you? No idea, i don't get it. Anyhow, the reason for the blog is that I came across a few bikes
So much rain....so little riding....makes joejoe a sad panda. So like...i HAVE ridden in the rain before and i didn't enjoy it very much. But then again, i wasn't prepared for it. I figure if i had all my rain gear i would have been just fine scooting along the highway but since i didn't...i ended up freezing my butt off by the time i got home. This was my first experience with rain and it occurred somewhere within the 2nd week of riding the HD. I learned alot on that ride from work to home and
My buddy Roy swung by Saturday morning to get me to try some twisties. We headed off to Topanga Canyon road right off the 118. This would be our 3rd time out to this spot but this time we are taking a detour and trying out Box Canyon Road. So far, i have been able to keep up with Roy on his 1997 Thunderace. I'm not trying to set any speed records here, just staying safe and keeping up. SO far, it's been FUN!!!
